Mason Collins is a sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kentucky. He originally attended the Newton’s Attic Mechantics summer camp in middle school and came back in order to help give other kids the opportunity to enjoy engineering. As a kid, he especially enjoyed making different backyard projectile launchers.
Now, he is broadening his knowledge both through his education at UK and his role on the Formula Kentucky racing team. Mason likes to explore the capabilities of engineering and can’t wait to show others through his work with Newton’s Attic this summer.
